Thanks, that seems to be largely true, and you can see this when overdubbing too. If the buffer is set to 2000 ms, under WASAPI playback of the previous track starts as soon as you start to overdub, but with the other two hosts playback is delayed by 2000 ms.
There is one oddity. If you play a track (without recording) under WASAPI with the buffer set to 2000 ms, the playback cursor jumps from time zero to 2 seconds, plays, then playback stops at the end of the track (even though playback has not reached there). Under the other hosts, the playback cursor starts from zero, playback is delayed by two seconds, and the playback cursor waits at the end of the track until playback has completed.

I guess the WASAPI implementation is for the time being a totally seperate module which doesn’t rely of the Parameters from the preferences (Level, Audio buffer Settings etc.).
Nevertheless, it’s a good thin (when you can wait 2 s and do not suffer from a high Level recording).
