is there away to draw it with existing music both top and bottom with 430.65 hz and automatically to lengthen of the music that exist’s?
without regenerating the music.
also i would like to have this like harmonic genertor that is in effects.

Sorry but I can’t make sense of what you are talking about.
i want the wave form as a effect. not to regenerate the music.
Sorry but I can’t help you. I can’t make sense of what you are asking.
That sounds like you want a “waveshaper” effect.
Wikipedia has this article about waveshaper effects: Waveshaper - Wikipedia
A waveshaper effect can transform the shape of a waveform, but it can’t produce arbitrary shapes like the “octagon” that you drew.
what are the shapes it can do?
Waveshapers don’t produce waveforms of a specific shape, rather they apply a specific type of deformation of the waveform. The shape of the processed waveform depends on the shape of the original waveform. One exception to this is that a waveshape can produce a square wave (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_wave) from any non-silent input - this is because applying a massive amount of amplification to any waveform and then clipping it will produce a square wave.
Did you read the Wikipedia article about waveshapers?
what’s the other types of nyquist can do besides generate?
i’ve got very little knowledge of this nyquist commands.

is there away to preserve the audio without destroying the audio to change the waveform to octagone?
is there away to preserve the audio without destroying the audio to change the waveform to octagone?
Is there a way to change a camel into a cow?
… change the waveform to octagone?

yes steve. i just want to make sure that the audio is preserved while nyquist changes the waveform into octagon.
well is there away just like the drawer on audacity?
I doubt that this will sound like you expect, but here’s the code:
(setf points (list -1 0.5 -1 1.086 0.414 2.5 1 3.914 0.414 4.5 -1 5 -1))
(setf lookuptable
(maketable
(abs-env
(pwlv-list points))))
(let* ((step (truncate (/ *sound-srate* 100)))
(env (snd-avg *track* step step op-peak)))
(mult env (osc (hz-to-step 430.65) 1 lookuptable)))
Note that this code is for mono tracks only.
I’ve not tested on long tracks and it may crash on long tracks, so I’d recommend applying it to short mono tracks only.
thanks steve
i’ve tryed it out on my computer. did a short audio. it didn’t crash on me so. thanks ![]()
