I have my recorded file. Now, how to burn it onto a CD?
Audacity does not include any CD burning features. You will need 3rd-party CD burning software to do this.
If you have a limited budget, search on google for “(free, open source) CD burning software”.
When I used Windows, I used https://cdburnerxp.se/en/download
(I’m now on Linux)
Windows Media Player and iTunes can do it but I use I use ImgBurn and I usually make a Cue Sheet so I can have “total control” of the layout.
The cue sheet also instructs the software to make an audio CD, not just burn WAV files onto the disc. I usually start with a known-good cue sheet and then edit it with Windows Notepad. A cue sheet also allows you to make a CD from one-big wave file and add the track markers if you have a continuous “mix” or a “live” recording with no gaps between songs.
