I can not figure out how to export a wav file in any of these formats: Wav formats G.711 a-law and u-law, g.722, g.729ab, Lin16 and iLBC. Anyone have any suggestions?
Export as WAV and then use a format conversion program.
Alternatively, if you have suitable codecs installed, use Audacity’s “external encoder” option: Exporting using an external encoder program - Audacity Manual
U-Law is supported in the Other uncompressed files Export Options
Really, whoever is giving you these requirements should be supplying you with the tools… At least a tool to convert a regular WAV file…
Did you install [u]FFmpeg[/u]?
I don’t see most of those formats but I see g722, pcm_alaw, pcm_mulaw, and others that MIGHT meet the requirements. lin16 MIGHT be a regular 16-bit WAV file (regular WAV files are linear PCM), possibly a raw file without the normal WAV header. iLBC might require something “special”.
[u]SoX[/u] can do all kinds of conversions but you might have to fill-in some of the details manually (bit-depth, sample rate, etc.)
