When a Wav file is clicked to open, Audacity as an application opens but the wav form does not appear on the track page. To make the wav form appear there, the file must be physically dragged and placed into the open application, but this was not the case previously. How can one make this a seamless operation?
One item I have already done is permitted all wav files to be opened by Audacity:
Wav file [control + mouse click] > Get Info > Open With > Audacity [Change All]
