So I recorded some voice.
I went to Effects → change pitch
what does the underlined field mean?
What I want to do is to find out my voice’s pitch.
And change it.
For instance, so that the whole thing sounds at 440 Hz.
Is that even possible? If so, how?
Thanks a lot for your answers.

You can try Analyze Spectrum.
As you may know, the human voice (and most natural sounds) are made-up of many frequencies. The lowest or “fundamental” is most-associated with perceived pitch. It will probably work best if you select a vowel sound to analyze.
And of course, when you are speaking or singing the pitch is not constant.
Thanks for your answer.
Is there any way of making the human voice sound only at one frequency? So that the pitch is constant. I mean something like autotune. But instead of tuning it to closest note, tune it to a constant one.
I’m pretty sure that’s off the topic of this forum, but I can’t think of any other. And I also think it’s not exactly very good idea either. But still, if there is anything anyone knows about it, I’d appreciate any info.
Thanks in advance.
Only tuning forks, flutes or some organ stops have single-tone or single frequency sounds. Harmonics, overtones and intentional distortions are what make the difference between two people singing exactly the same note, or the difference between viola and a saxophone playing the same note.
This mess is one of the “G” notes on the piano.

You didn’t get down to what you’re actually doing, but you might be a candidate for the Vocoder. You can make a tuning fork speak to you with that tool.

I think AutoTune & Melodyne can do that… Tune to an arbitrary note… I think there are settings other than the fully-automatic “closest note” setting. I’ve never used those programs, but you might need a MIDI file with the one note you want.
There is a free plug-in called ReaTune for REAPER ($60 USD after free trial) It has a “manual” mode. But again, I’ve never used it.
