Have just started using Audacity and was wondering if it Is possible to change the view. Can you have like a grid with say 4/4 time on it as opposed to just the time numbered at the top?
Unfortunately the time line display cannot be changed (unless you are a programmer and hack the code). I can see real advantages in what you are asking for, particularly if you were also able to “Snap to beats”. It would of course be necessary for the user to be able to set the bpm and number of beats in a bar.
