I have recently purchased RX10 elements. These plug ins appear in Audacity. When I select in Effects the RX10 Repair Assistant and press learn, I can not play the selected audio track until I remove RX10 repair assistant, which rather defeats the purpose.
If I use real time effects in audacity I can use the RX10 plug ins separately but not the Repair Assistant.
Any help greatly appreciated.
So I recently downloaded the three free plugins from Izotope, and they all seemed to work under 3.3.2 as either destructive effects or as real-time effects.
The “Repair Assistant” assistant was not part of the free package that I installed.
Even though Audacity is not listed under their Supported Hosts: (Logic Pro, Pro Toos, Ableton, Cubase, Nuendo, Studio One, Reaper, FL Studio, Audion, Premiere Pro), you might contact Izotope for some tips on how to deal with this “Repair Assitance” issue.
Here is a list of current open issue with running Izotope plugins under Audacity: Issues · audacity/audacity · GitHub

Have you asked Izotope if they will refund your money?
