Using Audacity with Mackie ProFX12 Mixer.

Hi,

I’m using Audacity 3.1.3 on Windows 11. My pretty new Mackie ProFX12 (Onyx Digital Chip) seems to work well EXCEPT:

Playback with of a Mackie MS Wave mixdown on Audacity creates a delay line/bottom of steel drum effect. Subtle but it also muddies the bass.

The DAW software is Bandlab Cakewalk.

If I move the final Audacity mp3 or flac output file to another Audacity, it sounds much better.

Has anyone heard of this behavior? I used older Audacity on Windows 7 and 10 for years and it always worked well to create mp3 and flac files from MS Wave mixdowns on Cakewalk Sonar 3.

Just wondering if the default audio settings in Windows should be identical to those in the 3rd party software, same sample rate, etc.
