Used it to record audio in a discord call know i cant use my mic for my pc at all

so I’m not sure exactly what happened,I’m not sure if I’m just not looking up the correct things to find help for it but I’m going to ask just to be sure.
I changed the first thing (I don’t really know what there called I only recently started using it) from MME to Windows WASAPI and the next to Speakers (2- Realtek High Definition Audio) (loopback) (I think hopefully) and then my friends couldn’t hear me so I switched back to what started recording my mic in MME and now it wasn’t picking up anything and my friends still couldn’t hear me and I couldn’t fix it and I was massing with a lot of the things there. I have no idea what happened and I can’t find anything like it online so far. I’m hoping I described it well enough to get some help.

That’s the “host” setting in the Device Toolbar.

Used it to record audio in a discord call

Audacity is not really suitable for recording conversation over Discord (or other conferencing software) because Audacity can only record one audio source at a time.

Try resetting Audacity: “Tools menu > Reset configuration”
