Be very careful about further spending unless you are sure it will work or you can get a refund. Since you have a laptop, could you take it to a reputable music shop and test a possible candidate in front of a salesperson?

I had the interface checked today together with my laptop at a computer shop, where they concluded that the interface is defective. So I will exchange it. If everything goes well, I will have the new UFO202 here next Thursday.
Once I have tried it out, I will report back here.

Hi there,
I just wanted to let you know how it went with exchanging the Behringer UFO202. It didn’t work any better than the first one.
So I’ll be getting something else after Christmas. Probably the ART USB Phono Plus.
