Upraded laptop. Can't record vinyl on Numark USB Turntable

Hi, I’ve just purchased a new laptop, which is running Windows 11. I’ve previously been running Audacity on a PC for well over 10 years, and have been happily converting vinyl records without any problems. After I installed Audacity on the new laptop, I referred to my old device and mirrored the settings for recording and playback. These are:
Microphone (2 USB Audio Codec) for recording
Microsoft Sound Mapper for playback
However, I am now unable to record or playback anything. I’ve got Software Playthrough switched on, I’m running Audacity 3.3.3.
Any ideas gratefully received,

Just a quick update. I seem to have vocals only coming through now.

Make sure Windows “enhancements” are turned OFF. (Windows seems to be getting “better” at differentiating between voice & music.)

Check your Audacity Playback Device and try to specifically select your soundcard/speakers, or whatever it shows. Windows may have defaulted to (and “mapped” to) the USB turntable for both recording and playback, and of course it won’t work for playback.

After a bit of messing around I seem to have found the right settings and it is working ok now.
