Unrecognizable voice/altering my voice, post production or real time

hi everyone, im new to audacity and i need to alter my voice, so people who know it wouldnt recognise it. no need for a biiig change, just so it isnt clear right away that its me. i tried changing pitch and tempo, but it doesnt really do what i described. do you have any tips for effects, plugins or other things that would work? or some other software? i dont want to use ai,because it sounds offputting, but nothing else comes to my mind.
ill be very grateful for any response

If you want to do it in real-time, consider getting a K9 vocal processor.

I have bought one, but haven’t had time to play with it beyond making sure it will work with my field recorder.

thank you ill look at it

Post back if you get something to work.

This isn’t as easy as you think. Me just changing pitch is going to sound exactly like Koz changing pitch. To do a good job, you have to change tempo, rhythm, metre, and expression. And pitch if you want to. That’s what actors do.

There’s Another oddity. Most people sound the same whispering. It’s only when they talk do you pick up the differences. Pitch changing changes everything.

“Make Me Sound Like” forum questions rarely come out right. If the job is really important, you might try getting an AI voice to do it.

And as above, if you have to do it all in real time, post back if you get something to work.
