I’ve downloaded version 3.1.3 from the correct website and I’ve quadruple checked that I have the system requirements, but every time I try to run the program I get a pop up that says that this app can’t run on my PC and to check with for a version that I can run. I have no idea why it would say that, because, as I’ve said, I have meticulously checked that I meet the requirements. Any ideas?
Windows 10 was available in 32 & 64 bit versions.
Audacity is also available in 32 & 64 bit versions.
64 bit Audacity will only run on 64 bit Windows.
If you have a 32 bit version of Windows you can only run the 32-bit version of Audacity,

The 64-bit version may start to download automatically. Just cancel this and download the Audacity 3.1.3 32 bit installer which you will see further down on the page.
