Trying to find a Free downloadable plug-in for a classic "Univibe" guitar effect

Hi everyone,

I have been looking online to find a good, free plug-in for a classic “Univibe” guitar effect (that will work in Audacity version 2.4.2 Windows 10). Some places say they exist, but when I go onto the appropriate websites, they are either not listed at all or are only available at a price (such as the Wambler Terraform, which has a univibe effect in it). Can anyone tell me where I can get a free univibe effect plug-in? And, does the Wambler Terraform even work in Audacity 2.4.2 Windows 10?

Hi Trebor,
Thanks for the tip about the Chorus plug-in. However, the sound in the demonstration video doesn’t seem to be that of a Univibe. It seems that he is only getting a chorus effect.

Turning the modulation depth controls to zero removes the chorus,
then just use the “voice count” which adds the random phase effect.

Type in free VST plugins
and start your great hunt Charlie Brown
Most are going to be 32 bit .
So may have to get an older DAW that can load this type of plugin
