I’m trying to make trumpet multitracks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLWhambQyA0&feature=channel_video_title
I’m using a shure sm57 and audacity (the guy in the video is also using a sm57).
For some reason, I can’t get the same sound quality as in that guy’s video. What tools should I use on audacity to fix this? e.g. compressor, equalization, normalize, reverb, leveler?
How should I use those tools?

Perhaps you could post a couple of seconds of your recording so we can hear where we’re starting from.

There is stereo reverb effect used on the solo trumpet, if you invert one of the tracks you can hear it …

You’ll need a reverb effect with “crossover” to produce similar results … https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/good-gverb-settings-for-song-vocals/13355/10
