Trouble Saving to Cloud

I’m having issues trying to save my project to the cloud on audio.com. It keeps giving me this:

I bought 250gb of space and have only used 3.93, so I don’t understand why it wont save. Help

I’m trying to think of reasons for this error other than the obvious one.

What’s the show or production?

Every time you perform an edit, Audacity makes a perfect copy of the whole show. That’s how it does UNDO. It doesn’t try to figure out your last edit, it just trashes it and plays back the show before this one. If you have a large show with a million edits, the actual data used could be super high, way higher than you think.

Also, I don’t know if under certain conditions audio.com tries to save all the UNDO layers or not. Another elf may post.

Has this ever worked? Is this your first experience with backups on audio.com?

Will saving your show fit on the internal drive? Save it locally, restart Audacity, make a really tiny test show, and try to save that on audio.com.

@bigpapafrita hello and welcome!
When you are using the cloud, it creates a temporary copy on your system drive, and it is likely that there is not enough space. Could you try to change the directory in prefrences to the drive which has enough free space:
