I went to install the update from Audacity 3.3.3 and the website was blocked by Malware Bytes Premium as containing a trojan.
Just thought I’d better let you know.
…I only have the free version of MalwareBytes, which doesn’t check websites, but I’ve never had a problem with Audacity.

TotalVirus which scans with multiple tools (including MalwareBytes) doesn’t find any problems.
Keep away from the German “Audacity” website. It’s fake and is known to distribute malware. Unfortunately all efforts to get it shut down have failed so far. The official Audacity website is: https://www.audacityteam.org/
