I cannot figure out how to use the Timeshift tool in macros, although there is an option to activate the Timeshift tool. I tried to fiddle around with the “Drag” event, without much success (and that is an experimental feature, I think, anyway).
I was able to work around that with cut, repositioning the cursor, then paste, but Timeshift would be more efficient and flexible for some situations.
Does anyone have documentation citations or advice on how to do this?
Yes it’s an experimental feature. I think the only thing it is used for so far, is for automated screenshots for the manual that need to show a “tool tip” (hover text).
That’s how I would do it.
