Regardless of the rights or wrongs of the privacy statement, the fact that it has blown up to an angry mob making threats of violence (and even death threats) against the developers of Audacity is a sad reflection of social media driven culture. My main concern regarding this forum, is that we don’t allow the fiasco to destroy what we are doing here, and continue to help people, which is the entire raison d’etre of this forum.
