There are a few suggestions.
1. It’s always convenient to zoom in or out of an audio clip on a track using the mouse wheel to select or delete clips. That would be awesome.
2. You can already set the color of an audio clip on a specific track in advance, but it would be great to have more colors and be able to save certain colors for the first track, second track, and so on, depending on their order.
3. The ability to run music plugins inside Audacity by loading them through Muse Hub, if that’s interesting. Of course, it’s not a full DAW and it’s not that simple, but it could be fun and I wouldn’t mind trying it out in practice. Add a drum machine with sample loading, a hybrid synthesizer with sample loading, and a sampler. Recording is already there, but during recording the drum machine, synthesizers, and effects work. The effects are already built-in, they just need to be adapted.
4. If possible, automatically set the ASIO driver by default if it’s available on the PC.
