Recording constant source music from a dj mixer via USB cable in 48khz/32bit. I’ve tried turning anti-malware service off. Have installed latest Audacity. No other non-start up software running concurrently. Have unchecked Sound Activated Recording.

That’s exactly what I said, it wasn’t snide as you assume. Oh the joy of getting uptight based on what is written on a screen. I was commenting on how no one had suggested anything, and because everyone knows what you said is true, that there is no service. Why do you bother getting flamed if you aren’t going to write anything constructive?
You DM’d me about another software, suggesting I don’t use Audacity. I don’t want to use whatever you suggested, I want to use Audacity because its good. The software you suggested glitched out.
