stereo to mono

I have a recording in stereo that could just easily be mono. How can I convert to mono?

Double-click in the track to select all of it. Then Tracks > Stereo Track to Mono. See http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tracks_menu.html#Stereo_to_Mono .

Tracks > Stereo Track to Mono.

This is assuming you’re in Audacity 2.0.3.
