Hey, i recently purchased stems off beat port, i downloaded audacity to get them stems and downloaded “lame library” as all of the websites i looked at told me to do this, whe i went to put my stems into audacity it comes up with an error importing saying that “This version of Audacity was not compiled with QuickTime files support”. i have looked around online for ages looking for a solution but have not been able to find one.
any help would be greatly appreciated,

Try installing FFmpeg for Audacity. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_and_updating_audacity_on_mac_os_x.html#macff
i have installed FFmpeg still no luck it is an mp4 file
Audacity (with FFmpeg) should be able to import a “normal” MP4 file. Where did the file come from?
