Splitting WAV file into separate tracks

I have WAV files of entire sides of albums. How can I split the file into separate tracks, one per song?

I do it the “old fashioned way”. I just select/highlight one song at a time and then File → Export → Export Selected Audio one song at a time. (Actually, I usually select/export a little extra and then re-import and trim later.)
