How do I change the displayed frequency range on the spectrum plot (not the spectrogram)?
I am interested only in a range of 0 to 1 kHz.
I see examples on the 'net of narrowed ranges, but I cannot see how to do this in the app.
Sorry if this is an old question.
thanks

Audicity’s native “plot spectrum” doesn’t have the ability to select part of the spectrum.
but there are free plugins which work in Audacity which do, e.g. …
Free Real-time FFT spectrum analyzer plugin. Offers you a lot of options for visual look customization. Features statistics, correlation meter, EBU R128, and K-system metering.

Resample the track to 2000 Hz sample rate, then use Plot Spectrum. (Tracks Menu - Audacity Manual )
