Sound Activated Recording - Stop Delay Time

I record audio from two-way radio conversations, usually lasting about two hours. This involves a considerable amount of silence. I now use the truncate silence after the recording stops. This works, but it would be much more convenient if the Enable Sound Activated recordings had a time out that could be set. ie (0 to 9 seconds). (I use 2 seconds for the truncate function) Such that the recording would stop if the silence exceeded this timer value. With the current immediate shut down, one conversation runs into the next, without a break.

I’m certain that you can set the recording level in decibels for sound activated recording.

Back when I was using USB microphones I tried doing sound activated recording, and I found that sometimes it would cut off audio that I didn’t want cut, and there was no way to get it back again. After that, I just used Truncate Silence, and if it cut something I needed, I could Undo to get it back.
