I have a 2023 MacBook air m1 that was working perfectly fine with audacity before the Sonoma update. I contacted Apple in hopes of doing a downgrade to a lower version which I did, but them my serato dj program wouldn’t open. When I recorded it audacity I noticed that the record level was only one side and the level was not showing when pressed. Will there be an update soon for this? I love using audacity and recommend it to all my friends. But not being able to really see what’s going on doing the recording process is really stressful.
Sonoma is the worst upgrade, full of bugs…I have been an apple user since 1985 so I have seen it all. I think the chipset is part of the problem. Good luck!
