Problems occurred in speech (audio book) recording That is :
- bad sound quality (reverberation),
- loss of sound at the beginning of a sentence,
- impossible to reach saturation as if something was automatically limiting it.
While Windows 11 has its own sound enhancement setting, the HP computer has additional “HP Audio Center” app with its own HP experience enhancement.
Problems solved in “HP Audio Center” by selecting Noise Cancellation and turn OFF “AI noise removal applied to input device”.
Sadly, the default HP settings made the audio bad and unsuitable for Audacity speech recording.
