When I launch Audacity, the “What’s new in Audacity” window says that the Soap Voice Cleaner can be found on MuseHub. I spent the $60 to buy the plugin on MuseHub and installed it, only to get a message that says that VS3 plugins aren’t compatible?
Is there something I’m missing? Did I download something incorrectly?

That’s not strictly true unless you’re running an older version of Audacity.
It should work since it’s from Muse Hub. Otherwise plug-ins can be hit-or miss and compatibility is up to the plug-in developer.
I don’t know if Muse Hub has technical support but I have the link for getting a refund
I would NEVER buy a plug-in if there was no free trial…
Most commercial plug-ins have a list of supported hosts and very few officially support Audacity, but some work anyway.
With most free plug-ins you just have to try them.
