Skips recording [SOLVED]

I am recording on a Lenovo yoga Slim and durring a lot of troubleshooting a new issues has arisen - the recording does not continous record.
If I dont speak, it “stops” recording, and when I do speak, it still skips/cuts the speak and sound is not being recorded.

There is plenty of GB, no other application running - how to troubleshoot?

Check that you haven’t accidentally turned on “Sound Activated Recording” in “Transport menu > Transport Options”. (it should be “off” / not selected).
