simulated stereo

As of now the only way I can do it is by copying the dual channel mono track then editing one to play the left channel fully and do the equalization for it to all bass and lower midrange. Then make the other play the right channel fully and equalization onit tothe higher midrange to full treble. Then have audacity merge and render new track. This will give real stereo but it’s still simulated stereo but better than just recording two mono chanels. So I wondering if you can cut the steps described down or tell me if there’s anything already for doing that.

You could try this “pseudo-stereo” plug-in: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Effect_Plug-ins#Pseudo-Stereo

Thanks I will try that.
