Hello, I am new to Audacity. Can someone please tell me how I can download Audacity in English !
I have a Mac with OS X 10.6. I am English but live in Switzerland.
Every time I try to download it I get the German version ( in spite of asking for the English download version)
I guess it’s picking up my location.
For any help I would be very grateful.
There is no English download version supplied by us. I recommend downloading the latest Audacity 2.1.2 from us at http://audacityteam.org/download/mac. Otherwise you might harm your computer with a hacked version of Audacity. That can happen because Audacity is open source.
If you don’t want to use Audacity in the language your operating system is running in, you can change the language in Interface Preferences. Please see http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_about_audacity.html#language.
