Hi, I’m using audacity-win-2.1.2.exe on windows XP pro.
I would like to use Audacity to recored old tapes and would like to set a time limit for Audacity’s recording, so it doesn’t go on all night.
Is this possible in an easy way ?
thanks

I presume that you are aware of the security risks in using XP?
There’s the “Timer Record” feature: Timer Record - Audacity Manual
This feature has been substantially improved in Audacity 2.1.3 which is due to be released in the next week or so.
