When filling out the metadata information during exporting is there a way to save your progress as you go along before final exporting? This would be nice if you have to quit the program and come back later to complete the export.
Edit → Metadata editor whenever your file is open.
You can export temporary WAV or FLAC files or as an Audacity project any time. I always recommend exporting as WAV or FLAC immediately after recording whether you make an Audacity project or not. Audacity project files are more complicated and “fragile” than regular audio files.
