Rip Instagram Reel Audio with no quality loss?

Hello, I am new to Audacity and audio editing - I’m looking for a way to rip audio from an Instagram reel without any compression/audio loss.

I understand that Instagram significantly compresses uploads, but I just want to ensure there is no further quality loss.

Can I do this with audacity or any plugins? If not, what is the best way to do so? Many thanks.

I’m not on Instagram, but I assume there is no “download” button?

If you’re on Windows, WASAPI loopback should accurately capture the decompressed audio as it plays.

Thanks, Doug. No there is not unfortunately. It’s like YouTube in that regard.

Hence why I am trying to download via audacity or another application with no quality loss.

I’m also on Mac
