Where do I find the Audacity’s manual recovery tools
Audacity stopped using .aup & _data format in 2021.

My previous post contains a link to an archive copy of the old Audacity manual.
I have two issues:; 1) I have a large library of Audacity recordings with the data and .aup format. Is there a way to convert the data and the .aup files to the current format used by Audacity. 2) If there is no reformatting of the data and the .aup files, where is the 3.0.0 version of Audacity found to be installed (downloaded) without influencing the current Audacity 3.7.5?
Not that I know of. But trying to open (or import) .aup and the related _data files in one of the first versions of Audacity which used .aup3 might open them. On the other hand, if you have completed editing them, why should you want to keep the .aup/.aup3 projects? Export them to .aiff, .wav or whatever you like and you have something which you can open with many other programs as well.
