I used Zoom, Skype, and Facebook Messenger to have discussions for my podcast, but when I turn on Audacity to record all of us, it only records my microphone, which means the guest needs to record on their end. Is there any way to fix this so that I can record the discussion? I have 2.3.3
it only records my microphone
That’s because your microphone is a service of your computer. Their sound is a service of Zoom, Skype, and Messenger which hates to share.
They’re not necessarily evil, but their job is to keep all these bi-directional voices from interfering with each other, plus echo cancellation and noise reduction. Skype got to be Skype by grabbing your computer around its neck and not letting go until the call is finished. Hard to break into that.
There’s Pamela. Note Pamela dropped support for Macs a while ago. Windows only.

There’s always dropping the idea of one computer. I did a very good Skype connection with two.
Music, Audacity, Research, Recording, Notes and what-all are on the left. Skype is on the right. It thinks it’s king of the world—and I didn’t tell it about the other one.
Route the sound with the mixer in the middle. This was before Messenger and Zoom, but there’s no reason it wouldn’t work. One at a time.

The desperation method is establish your call on the computer and set your phone in the middle of the table recording the room.
