Recording with turntable

How do I set up audacity to record from turntable

Do you have a computer?
If so, what kind of computer, what operating system, what version of operating system?
What kind of turntable? What connections does it have?
Depending on what you have, different possibilities exist.

Just as important… What have you tried so far?

Yes, have computer windows 11, turn table is STANTON T50, USB Audio Capture converter.

A link to the devices would help - otherwise, everyone who wants to help you needs to make some research and maybe even not find the exact device.

“USB capture converter” - well there are probably zillions of them, all similarly named…

To make a long story short:

Connect the turntable to the phono input of your stereo unit (amplifier)
Connect the amplifier’s line-out to the “USB capture converter”
Connect the “USB capture converter” to your computer
Don’t forget to grant access to “Microphone” for Audacity
Start Audacity and press “record” button and start turntable.

thanks will try that

the USB Audio Capture is from DIGITNOW
