So I have recorded my piano track i then want to listen to it back so i can then record and add in additional melody parts of the piano but when i play it back you can clearly hear both I want to be able to listen to the first one while recording the second without it recording double if that makes sense? This is my first time using and im not sure what im doing wrong i have had a look at so many tutorials and the forum but cant find nothing about layering the same instrument without hearing it doubling up! please help me
