Hello. I am recording on a MacBook Pro usng the inbuilt mic. I am recording hypnotherapies for clients. Suddenly they are playing back at very fast speed for every client, me included. What am I doing wrong? I dont really understand the settings…
I’ve run into this issue before in my case, it happened because the project rate in Audacity didn’t match the rate of my recording device. Setting both to the same sample rate (like 44100 Hz) fixed the playback speed problem instantly. Also worth checking if your audio driver is forcing a different rate.
