Recording from Roland Boss BR80 to Audacity

Hello , I am brand new to the forum and would appreciate some help please.
I have Audacity 2.2 ( Latest) installed on my Mac with OS Lion.
I have a Roland Boss BR80 palm held digital recorder and want to know please :
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECORD SONGS ON AUDACITY FROM THE LINE OUT ON THE RECORDER TO AUDIO IN ON THE MAC AND STRAIGHT ON TO AUDACITY TRACKS?
I know it is possible to do it from tape recorders and record players but there is no mention of a recording device that I have seen.
I am new here so hav’nr had time to read everything so be gentle!

The newer MacBook Pros no longer have Stereo Line-in. If you have one of the intermediate Macs, you may have a control panel that lets you switch one connection between Stereo Line-In and Stereo Line-Out. If you have an older Mac, you may have both connections as separate holes.

That’s what I have.

Stereo Line-In is the thin circle with two black arrows.

If you have a newer Mac, you may be able to use a Behringer UCA-202 Stereo Line adapter both directions.
