Can Audacity record audio directly from the Internet?
Why did you ask it that way? Most people would just ask about recording streaming audio. Do you want to computer to go do something else while your music is recording?
Most machines have to tie up both the play and record services to record Youtube songs, for example. It has to play the song from YouTube and then, in software, turn the song around and send it down the recording channels so Audacity can grab it. There’s no one simple pathway.
