Recording a drum set trough Superior Drummer 3

Hello, i am using M-audio fast ultra, i have a drumset plug in midi, and use Superior Drummer 3 to play the drumset. When recording with audacity, i realise that it is only the hi-hat that is bein recorded.
I aware it might not be Audacity issue, but is there anybody that know what i need to do to fix this

Audacity isn’t a MIDI application. I’m surprised you’re getting the high-hat…

If you have a MIDI application and you can hear the drums you should be able to record the sound the computer is putting-out.

But normally you record (or “capture”) the MIDI messages with your DAW or other MIDI application) and then use that application to render to audio.

Or, I think Superior Drummer generates the MIDI (and it includes the virtual drums & cymbals) so you don’t have to “capture” it. But I don’t know if it can generate audio by itself.

Hello, hi-hat did not work, it was an analog signal that came from the module directly and not from SD3. Now i know SD3 did not generated any sound. Will continue my search, thank you for your comment, it got me to double check everything and figure out why the hi-hat. Have a nice one !
