Recorded Audio sounds good on headphones and as if too loud on mac speakers, why?

Mac Version: 10.15.4 (Catalina)
Mac:(13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)
Audacity: 2.3.3
Mic: Samson Meteor Mic (USB, condensor) http://www.samsontech.com/samson/produc … meteormic/

Hi
Problem: If I play recorded audio on my mac, it sounds as if the audio is too loud for my mac speakers to handle (when it gets too loud, speakers start to produce unclear noise, almost vibrating)
However, the speakers are not broken, from iTunes or Youtube I can play sound at maximum volume and it still sounds super clean, and also that is actually MUCH louder than when I play the recorded audio at max volume.
On my Bose Quiet Confort 2, the recorded audio is also very clear and good - so no problem there.

I have tried different mic sensitivities (80-100 % → no difference),
different distance mic - mouth: 1,2 & 3 hang-loose signes → no difference
with pop-filter / without → no difference.

I’ve tried hours and hours but just can’t figure this one out, also googled a lot but didn’t find anything useful.

Goal: I want to be able to replay the recorded audio on my mac (speakers) in a laud and clean way.
Is there anything I can do to get this fixed? While recording, or after with audacity?

Any help highly appreciated!

Best,
wredwood
