In recent versions of Audacity, new plug-ins don’t appear in the plug-in manager until Audacity is restarted.
After installing a plug-in, restart Audacity, and if the plug-in is correctly installed and is supported by Audacity, it will be enabled automatically.
Hi Steve, yes, I am aware. The plugins would not show even after audacity was restarted. I had to change the location of the plugins; instead of the location specified in the instructions (and set up as default in the plugin, i.e. C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\ReaPlugs) I had to install them in C:\Program Files\Audacity\Plug-In. Then audacity was able to see them and load them once restarted.
