my version of audacity is 220.127.116.11 in a directory “C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity\audacity.exe”
Il have the file lame_v3.99.3 in a directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Winamp\Plugins\lame_enc.dll
When i want to open a file xxxx.mp3 there is no sound when i read it
If somebody can help me it will be very “sympathique”
LAME is only used for writing MP3’s, not for playing them.
Audacity probably won’t be able to use your copy of lame_enc.dll. I suggest you follow these instructions http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#lame to download LAME.
Are there blue waves when you import the MP3 file? If not, it probably means that file cleanup software has deleted the temporary files Audacity wrote when it imported the file. Upgrading to Audacity 2.1.2 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows will solve that.
If you see blue waves when importing the file, use Device Toolbar to choose the playback device your speakers or headphones are using.
Then use Mixer Toolbar:
to turn the volume up.
