Question about License of ImageCache.png

I have a question about licensing.

I want to create and distribute an Audacity theme. Should “ImageCache.png” be licensed under GPLv2/GPLv3? Or can it be treated as separate data and given a more restrictive license?

I think a standalone PNG image file that makes no sense without Audacity is a borderline case. So I came here to get opinions.

If there is a way that Audacity wants it, I would like to follow it!

The safe option would be to license your file GPL-compatible. Note that this doesn’t mean you have to give it away for free – you absolutely can sell your custom theme as an imagecache on gumroad/booth/…

I’ve decided to license it GPL-compatible. Probably GPL or MIT. I will distribute it for free and add a fee option in the form of a donation.
