Process to export audio

Hello all, I imagine I’m out of luck but I’m gonna ask anyway:

In every version of Audacity after 3.3.3 (I believe), the function to export audio requires an additional screen and at least one additional click versus 3.3.3 where exporting audio opens a window where you can choose the folder and file name and other stuff all in that one window.

The extra steps to save audio are like little speedbumps that I find so annoying that whenever I try an update I always end up rolling back to 3.3.3.

So my question is whether there is a setting available in the later versions that allow the export function to work like it did in 3.3.3 and prior where I only have to see one screen.

I’m pretty sure there isn’t a way to do it the ‘old’ way as per 3.3.3. That version was a really solid version, in my view. However, I have learned to appreciate the number of key presses saved when exporting an album, for example, using labels. You only press Enter once (I think) as opposed to pressing it for every track you export on 3.3.3.
