Hi
I recently bought a Logitech H111 that just plugs into the mic port on my PC and it’s ready to use.
My computer has no problem detecting it but my audio input is being detected through the earphones instead of the mic.
what is causing the problem and how to fix it is my mic turned off and it is off how can I test it? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
I am running windows 10.

Audacity gets its recording sound from Windows, not the device. Windows can have trouble with the Logitech.

Your headset has a combination microphone/headphone plug.
Does your computer have a matching mic/headphone combo jack, or does it have separate mic & headphone jacks?
